Johanna Lyon; cheeky, soul-bearing grub is an actor and cabaret comedian dedicated to laughing with others.
After graduating with her Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in acting from USQ, she undertook further study (honours) to devise and develop new work. More recently Jo wrote, produced and performed her first full-length solo cabaret, ”Irrashional”, at the Sydney Comedy Fringe with a strong homecoming season in Brisbane. This oddball is most interested in discussing and unpacking why humans do what we do concerning love and discrimination. She aims to achieve connection between strangers within her work, for an audience to relate to something that is confessed/proposed/thought and then (best-case scenario) share their own relevant experiences with others.
